AC Biode`s Medical Plastic Recycling receives Award from Sanofi and Sartorius
According
to the UN, only 9% of 8.3 billion tons of plastic wastes have been recycled
over the past 65 years. This is due to the low efficiency of catalysts in
recycling and high costs of recycling facilities. COO, Robert Kunzmann explains: "Pyrolyst is developing efficient, cost-effective and high-yield catalytic pyrolysis for mixed plastic recycling. Our process can take any kind of mixed plastic waste, even with high amounts of contamination or PVC. Pyrolyst has ready-to-ship plug & use machines convert between 50-200kg/h of mixed plastic into naphtha and diesel."
AC Biode`s Medical Plastic Recycling, which is part of Pyrolyst receives the Best budding technology Award from Sanofi and Sartorius.
We look forward to working together on recycling of medical plastic waste.
Unlike other pyrolysis, Pyrolyst can handle large amounts of PVC and inorganic waste. This makes the technology uniquely suitable to recycle plastic waste that is currently incinerated.
